Mountain Wolf: Aspen Valley Wolf Pack
Rough around the edges. A heart of gold. Only one woman can satisfy this mountain man. And when fate sends his intended mate right to his doorstep, he’s ready to give up all honor to claim her.
Trouble in Aspen Valley and a threat to journalist Cassie Grey’s life leaves her no choice but to seek refuge. At the advice of her brother, she agrees to lay low in a mountain-side cabin owned by his best friend Luke.
While staying with Luke, Cassie sees past his serious demeanor and becomes infatuated by his rogue grin and rugged good looks. She also senses something purely animalistic about him. His panty-melting stares are just as potent to her as his lingering caresses. She wants more than his promise of safety. It doesn’t matter that he’s ten years older than her. She knows a real man is what she needs. She can’t fight the need to have him all to herself–she doesn’t want to.
Wolf shifter Luke Lombardi is a man of his word, but Cassie’s sexy curves and teasing touches are driving him to distraction. He’s supposed to be looking out for her, not wishing she was his. By Luke’s standards, she’s barely legal and out of his league, but she doesn’t seem to care. His control is fading…especially when all he wants to do is lay claim to the mate he’s always desired. There’s just one more obstacle: revealing his secret could mean losing her forever.
What’s Next?
I’m currently working on the final scenes of Rogue Wolf, so there will be more coming very soon about the Aspen Valley Wolf Pack and the obstacles (and triumphs) they experience. The stories are loosely connected and can be read as a stand alones.
I don’t have an official blurb right now. Too busy working on some books, but here’s the gist of the story ~
Rogue Wolf is Deacon’s and Monica’s story. These two are well known in their respective Aspen Valley communities, but they haven’t made an appearance yet in any of the books.
Deacon is considered a “rogue” among his Pack members and is only just returning to Aspen Valley to repay a favor. He’s also Luke Lombardi’s cousin. He’s the guy that Cassie Grey sees riding away on the motorcycle near the beginning of Mountain Wolf. I wonder what Luke and Deacon were talking about….hmmmm….lol! That’s basically how I got the immediate urge to write Deacon’s story. I needed to know who this secondary character was and what he was doing there. I’m so nosy. And if you thought Luke was hot….just wait.
Monica is a pediatric nurse whose dad has high aspirations for her, including setting her up to marry a rich playboy so they can continue the family “tradition”. Of course, she thinks she owes that to her family, but what about her happiness? Doesn’t she deserve that at least? And with a man who she’s madly, deeply in love with? She can’t have everything. She needs to choose.
You know where this goes…Opposites attract and there is plenty of opposition. But Deacon’s not having it–Monica will be his.
Okay, back to work now.
Check out the series!
this is not about the Aspen Valley Pack as I have already read all of that series. this about the epilogue for the Caedmon series book 1 epilogue- I would love to read what happens to Tamara and Devin.
